Rose Wrigglesworth lived with her family at 135 Hindle House Arcola Street Hackney E8. On the night of Wednesday 18th September 1940 she was at home with her Husband Fred and Son Frederick Junior. All three of them were killed when a High Explosive bomb dropped from an enemy aircraft hit the flats causing them to collapse. Rose was buried at Abney Park Cemetery Stoke Newington on 26th September 1940 in a common grave with Husband, Son and Father Fred Burdon who was visiting them and also died in the blast.
